This website is operated by Agora Ceramics. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Agora Ceramics.
By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our site.
Products
All pieces are handmade in small batches. Variations in form, glaze, colour and texture are inherent to the handmade process and are not considered faults.
We make every effort to photograph pieces accurately. However, colours may vary slightly depending on individual screen settings and natural material variation.
All functional ware is finished using food-safe glazes.
Sculptural pieces are delicate by nature and must be handled with care.
Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Payments are processed securely via Shopify’s payment providers, which may include Shopify Payments, credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal or other listed options at checkout.
We do not store or have access to your full credit card details.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or cancel orders if an item has been listed incorrectly.
Orders
Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. Orders cannot be amended once dispatched.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where necessary, including suspected fraudulent activity.
Shipping
Orders are carefully packed using recyclable materials wherever possible.
Shipping timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays. Once an order has been dispatched, Agora Ceramics is not responsible for postal delays outside our control.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the product and packaging.
Returns & Australian Consumer Law
Due to the handmade nature of our pieces, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind.
However, nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, significantly different from its description, or damaged in transit, please contact us so we can resolve the issue.
Each piece is individually inspected prior to dispatch.
Custom Orders
Custom pieces are confirmed in writing and may require a deposit.
As these pieces are made specifically for you, they are not eligible for return unless faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
Care
Functional pieces are dishwasher safe on gentle cycles, though hand washing is recommended for longevity.
Sculptural pieces are hand wash only. Extended edges and frilled forms are intentionally delicate and must always be lifted from the base.

Privacy
Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We use secure third-party providers to process payments and manage our online store. Your information is used only to fulfil orders, communicate with you and improve our services.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Intellectual Property
All imagery, text and branding on this website are the property of Agora Ceramics and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
